The 2023 Ford Maverick is now available with a Tremor Off-Road Package.
The new 2023 Ford Maverick Tremor is a midsize option for buyers seeking excellent off-road capability and bold styling. The best part is it utilizes the same compact package that comfortably fits their daily life in the city while supporting their outdoor passions. Oh, and it may even fit in your garage.
A new trim level.
The new Maverick Tremor kit is available for Maverick XLT and Lariat series trucks. It outfits the Maverick with functional features and more utility while keeping in line with the eye-catching style of the Tremor family of Ford trucks.
Power for the Maverick Tremor comes from a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine delivering 250 horsepower and 277lb-ft of torque. This compact pickup builds on the FX4 Off-Road Package with an all-wheel-drive system that’s new to Maverick. This advanced system includes a twin-clutch rear-drive unit with a differential lock feature for excellent off-road capability. It can divert virtually all rear axle torque to either side for traction as needed.
There are five selectable drive modes making it easier for drivers to quickly adapt to the conditions you are likely to find. These include modes for pavement, mud, sand, snow, and towing conditions.
Loads of bonus content.
The Tremor also features Trail Control. This function operates like an off-road cruise control. Here, a driver selects a speed and the truck will manage throttle and braking functions. This allows the driver to focus on steering through challenging conditions like mud or dirt.
A heavy-duty transmission cooler and upgraded half-shafts further bolster off-road capability. Unique front and rear springs and shocks aid in improved off-road capability. These new shocks and a 1-inch increase in ride height contribute to a more aggressive stance for the Tremor.
Assertive looks.
The rugged Tremor theme can be found throughout this special Maverick. The Tremor includes a unique grille finish, blacked-out Ford logos, headlamps, and taillamps. Front tow hooks are painted with signature Tremor Orange accents. For an even bolder look, customers can select the available Tremor Appearance Package, which includes a Carbonized Gray-painted roof and mirror caps and black side graphics on the hood and lower body.
But Ford is just getting started: Unique 17-inch aluminum wheels feature a new Tremor Orange and dark gray anodized finish, while standard all-terrain tires bring improved traction on loose surfaces like sand, gravel, and dirt. A new lower front fascia with a more aggressive approach angle and steel skid plates enhances capability. The bold design carries into the cabin, with Black Onyx seats featuring stitched Tremor logos and signature Tremor Orange accents. The center console, register vents, and door pulls are updated to include the new color scheme.
The 2023 Ford Maverick Tremor Off-Road Package adds $2,995 MSRP to the vehicle MSRP. The Tremor Appearance Package adds an additional $1,495. 2022 model year Tremor models sold out quickly. 2023 packages are available for ordering in August 2023.
