We recently spent a week test-driving the 2023 Genesis G90 AWD 3.5 T E-Supercharger in sunny Arizona.
The Genesis G90 is a luxury sedan that exudes finesse and refinement.
The G90 is Genesis’s Flagship sedan and is quite the show-stopper with its striking good looks.
The G90, entering its second generation, shows off its new redesign. It is now lower and boasts wider hips than its previous predecessor. It sports a new Crest Grill flanked by two-line headlamps, a single-panel clamshell hood, and easy-close doors. Push a button, and the doors open partway. Press the button, and the doors compact as if they were closed by a butler. Luxury features can be found in a Rolls Royce Phantom; now, you can experience them in a Genesis.
But the fun does not stop there; step inside, and you will experience a sensory overload with all the materials choices from leather, microsuede trim, and metal, and our favorite is the use of Sustainable materials found like matte–finished wood trim made using a method that involves reprocessing wastepaper including newspapers. Eco-Conscious Consumers will Rejoice.
The gorgeous cabin boasts cool tech, like a 12.3″ inch touchscreen with 1700 watts, 23-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system that makes Justin Biber, Daddy Yankee, and Luis Fonsi’s ” Despacito” sound great.
Under the hood, the G90 sports a new engine, a 3.5 liter V6 -GDI 48 E- Supercharger that outputs 406 – horsepower and 405 lb. of torque—paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Hit the pedal, and the acceleration is effortless and smooth.
The g90 hits all the right notes and gives luxury brands like Mercedes Benz a run for their money.
What they do have in common is the hefty price tag.
