A versatile vehicle suitable for off-road adventures and everyday use, the Jeep Trailhawk offers the perfect blend of rugged capability and practicality. Let’s dive into what makes the Jeep Compass rugged and practical. Under the hood, we find a 2 liter 4 cylinder turbocharged engine
that boasts 200 hp and 221 -pound-feet of torque mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2023 Jeep® Compass interior blends shapes, surfaces and textures to make it feel spacious and luxurious. The result is a modern, sophisticated environment with signature Jeep design elements, high-quality materials and state-of-the-art technology.

The gauge cluster is digital, colorful, configurable, and easily read. The center dash has a 10.1″ screen that controls the Alpine sound system, navigation system, Bluetooth, vehicle settings, 360-degree camera, and apps page. It also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enabling voice commands and Alexa integration.

Below the screen are buttons for turning off start/stop and activating the Park Sense system, which assists in parallel parking. Additionally, there is a wireless phone charger, USB and USB-C ports, and controls for the drive modes. The 4-wheel drive system can be engaged for rough terrain.

The back seat has limited room but ample headroom for taller passengers. Passengers in the back also have access to air conditioning vents, USB and USB-C ports, and a power outlet.

The Compass Trailhawk has a dual-pane panoramic moonroof, remote start, power liftgate, power front heated and air-conditioned seats, and a trailer towing package. Safety includes adaptive cruise control, park assist, active driving assist, lane management, forward collision warning with active braking, and blind spot monitoring.

The interior is quiet, and the handling and cornering are excellent. The turbo acceleration is strong, making it easy to merge onto the freeway. It offers a fuel economy of 24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.

This SUV, as tested, has a price point of $40,660, which may seem high for a compact SUV. However, it’s a Trail-Rated Jeep capable of off-roading and towing up to 2,000 pounds, which makes it great for hauling a small trailer.
