I had the pleasure of testing For Her and Narciso for the blog and I was delighted with the assignment. why? I loved them ,so with out further due here is my review of the fragances from fashion designer Narciso Rodriguez :
Let’s start with For Her its been in the market since 2007, packaged in a beautiful in pink box ( that alone catches your eye) with a sleek black bottle and the lettering For Her its a visual pleasure and makes you want to open the lid and smell its contents. The fragrance is soft sexy and a sensual combination of musk in its centre, surrounded by orange, osmanthus and amber. The base unites vanilla, amber and vetiver. Intensive sharp scent with hidden and scarcely discernible densely-sweet nuance in the centre later turns into a soft and balmy powder not over powering at all, I can understand why it has been a best seller since its launch. I love floral scents so this fragrance is a keeper in this bloggers opinion.
His new edition to the line is a fragrance simply called Narciso the box is a sexy unique blush color cube and inside the stylish bottle is the same color cube with the words Narciso. It smells of sophistication and sensuality again not overpowering with its key ingredients a velvety blend of white jasmine , Bulgarian Rose petals with signature woody notes of white and black cedars which embodies a woman’s seduction and mystery.
On both fragrances I did not need to reapply during the day. People in the street where complimentary to the “You smell so good what are you wearing?” and were surprised to know it was a Narciso Rodriguez line.
This are soley my opinions , always I invite you to try it on your own and let me know what you think
Until Next Time,
Sandra
Who is Narciso Rodriguez?
One of the foremost American designers during the last two decades, Narciso Rodriguez plays a singular role in global fashion. As Anna Wintour, editor in chief of American Vogue has said, “No one but Narciso has ever made a simple line look more stunning.”
In 1996, Rodriguez received international acclaim when he designed the bias-cut sheath wedding dress that his close friend Carolyn Bessette wore when she married John Kennedy, Jr.
On November 4, 2008, Narciso Rodriguez became part of a monumental event in American history. To celebrate her husband Barack Obama’s triumphant victory as the first African American president of The United States, Michelle Obama chose to wear a dress from the designer’s Spring 2009 Collection. “It was both emotional and exhilarating,” Rodriguez said. “To be part of this memorable moment in history was a great honor.”
Today, Narciso Rodriguez’s fashion house is based in New York City where he shows his women’s ready-to-wear collections.
