In 2009, she received recognition from the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Univision-Radio as one of the 40 Hispanic Leaders under 40, highlighting her influence and leadership within the community. Her commitment to service was further acknowledged in 2005 when she was awarded the prestigious Arizona Governor’s Volunteer Award. Additionally, Ms. Munoz is a proud graduate of Valley Leadership and the Hispanic Leadership Institute, reflecting her dedication to personal and professional development. She also is a former juror for the Hispanic Motor Press Car and Truck of the Year and a current Board member of the Motor Press Guild.

Above all her achievements, her most cherished role is that of a devoted mother to her son, Brandon.
