I had the opportunity to sample the delicious brunch menu at Ncounter Scottsdale location. The delicious menu had me at Red Velvet Waffles and as I parted bread with new friends. I thought about the history of Brunch. This genius combination of Breakfast and Lunch originated in England in the late 19th century and later became popular in the United States by Hollywood stars in the 1930’s. Brunch – the new social outlet allowed you to sleep in a bit on Sunday’s and then gather with friends to sweep the worries away or the hangover in no particular order. So in a nutshell there you have a bit of history.
