Gracias a la Conferencia We all Grow Summit a la cual tuve el honor de poder asistir y la cual patrocinó este bello tour que te recomiendo. Para mí fue muy especial ya que cuando tenía cinco años de edad nos mudamos a Long Beach, Califonia y después de algunos años de ausencia y para mi sorpresa sigue siendo aquella ciudad bella, vibrante y multicultural de mi niñez. Si estas planeado tus vacaciones para Spring Break (Semana Santa) o de verano, aquí te recomiendo las siguientes atracciones a visitar aparte de la bella playa.
Número uno en la lista te invito a tomar un tour con Harbor Breeze Gray Whale Watching and Dolphn Cruise disfruta de la bella costa al mismo tiempo conocerás de la historia del puerto de Long Beach y su famosos habitantes como El icónico barco Queen Mary y por supuesto su bellos habitantes marinos.
Número dos enriquece tu cultura visitando al Museo ( MOLAA) Museum of Latin American Art este museo que cuenta con 15,000 pies cuadrados fue fundado en 1996 es el único en su genero en Estdos Unidos que esta dedicado a el exposiciones Latino Americanas de arte moderno y contemporáneo. Allí encontré para mi sorpresa a arte de Tamayo, Matta, Tunga , Los Carpinteros y mi favorito Botero.
Tercer cito a visitar es el Aquarium of the Pacific este Aquario es digno de admiración ya que ellos se dedican a la conservación de los animales y habitantes que están en peligro de extinción como La Vaquita Marina que cuento con solo 100 habitando el Golfo de México y los Tiburones que desafortunadamente están siendo cazados por sus aletas. El Aquarium of the Pacific tiene un programa educacional e interactivo donde puedes tocar a tiburones! Si así es!, es una bella experiencia que en vez de tener miedo le tomas cariño a este ser misterioso y tan temido.
Y por último te recomiendo el Tour del Icónico Barco The Queen Mary! Ya que al poner tu primer paso estas viajando al glamour, (ya que fue construido después del famoso Titanic más grande), majestuoso y con la mejor tecnología del aquella época. También descubrías su servicio a nuestras tropas ya que 1950 transportaban soldados hacia su destino durante esta época de crisis mundial. En 1967 fue retirado y ahora millones de turistas disfrutan de su historia y algunos hasta se casan aboardo del Queen Mary.

Thank you to the We all Grow Summit for the remarkable tour of the beautiful city of Long Beach, California. This was a very special tour for me, when I was five years old we relocated to Long Beach, California and to my surprise it still continues to be the vibrant, multicultural and beautiful city of my childhood. So if your in need of new places to see besides the beautiful beach, while in California during Spring Break or Summer Vacation here are my recommendations:
Take a tour aboard the Harbor Breeze Gray Whale Watching and Dolphin Cruise ship this is a great way to explore Long Beach’s coastline and view the iconic The Queen Mary and get a chance to see California Sea Lions and more friendly habitants.
Art! Yes, take a tour of MOLAA Museum of Latin American Art the only one of its kind in the US. With over 15,000 sq. ft. including a sculpture garden you will experience art form Tamayo & Matta, Cruz, Los Carpinteros and my favorite Botero.
A must see is the most attended Aquarium in the country The Aquarium of the Pacific this aquarium houses 11,000 animals and learn of its efforts to the conservation and education of spices such as La Vaquita Marina which is extremely endangered with less 100 in the Gulf of Mexico to the education to end the fear and misconception of Sharks and experience touching, Yes! You can touch sharks at The Aquarium of the Pacific, this exhibit will leave you with the understanding of the role sharks have in our eco system.
And you cannot leave Long Beach without a visit to the Iconic The Queen Mary where the moment you set foot you will begin to travel back in time in to the era of glamour and luxury of the 1930’s and you will learn of its important role to our troops during WWII. Retired in 1967, The Queen Mary has provided a mesmerizing experience to all who have toured her since then.
