Fluids – Top off your oil, coolant, brake, power steering, and wiper fluid.
Lights – Test headlights, high beams, turn signals, brake and backup lights.
Tire pressure -Make sure the spare tire has air too.

Tire alignment/ rotation check
Brake pad inspection / change
Things to Bring
Car documents – Registration, inspection, insurance and warranties.
Flashlight – Essential for a nighttime stop or a breakdown.
Jumper cables – Always important, and you might even help someone.
First aid kit – If your car does not have one, you can purchase one at a local pharmacy sell pre-made kits.
Spare keys – Getting locked out on the road is not fun.
Cell phone chargers – bring an extra one.
Surprises – If you are traveling with little ones, things to do or read like fun magazines or toys can help them pass the time.
Water – If you are traveling with your pooch, make sure you bring a water and food bowl. Try to stop at pet friendly rest areas so he can stretch his legs too.
Remember to slow down, be courteous and always, always keep your eyes on the road.
Have a great and safe summer!
Until next time,
Sandra
